How Nimna Got Into Vedic Mathematics?
Nimna Hiranya is a 14-years-old girl from Colombo, Sri Lanka. She joined a class of Vedic mathematics when she was seven. During her learning, she also started meditation and loved mathematics. Nimna worked so hard to improve her knowledge with various exercises of mental mathematics. She met a good teacher who always used to teach with joy. Nimna says that being relaxed is the secret behind her success.
“I am following meditation, and I believe in being relaxed. Then only I can sharply concentrate because we need to be well relaxed to do mental math. I think doing meditation and practicing is the key to success.” – Nimna Hiranya.
The Young Genius, Nimna Hiranya On Sri Lanka’s Got Talent
Nimna wanted to participate in an international talent show because it could improve her personality. Therefore, she participated in Srilanka’s Got Talent and amazed the audience through her Vedic math skills. Nimna’s talent is exceptional. She became an internet sensation at that time. One of her videos on YouTube got more than 23 million views.
Global Child Prodigy 2020 Awardee
Global Child Prodigy is the first and only organization that recognizes the young talents from various countries and backgrounds. The GCP Awards list includes children having extreme competency in their field of interest such as painting, modeling, writing, entrepreneurship, intelligence, etc.
Nimna Hiranya won the Global Child Prodigy Award in January 2020 for her intelligence. She was also among the TOP 100 Child Prodigies of the world.
Nimna Hiranya ’s Future Aspirations
The young genius wants to serve my country at best. Other than that, she aims to become an astronomer, a marine biologist, and also a businesswoman. She wants to be a marine biologist because her role model, Asha de Vos, is a marine biologist from Sri Lanka. Nimna believes that she will achieve her ambitions.
