How To Master Mental Mathematics – By Nimna Hiranya

Nimna Hiranya is a 14-year-old girl from Sri Lanka. She got worldwide recognition for her extraordinary skills in mental math. This child prodigy has a keen interest in Vedic mathematics for doing calculations. So, Nimna is working hard to improve her knowledge. While revealing her secret behind the success, she says that being relaxed, practising consistently, and doing meditation makes her succeed in her field.

Mastering Mental Maths

Nimna was only seven years old when she joined Vedic mathematics classes. She also did meditation and developed a keen interest in mathematics. Gradually, she started loving it a lot. Nimna used to do various exercises that helped her to improve her ability and skills in solving mental maths. She was learning from a teacher who was teaching her with fun and joy. So, she enjoyed the learning process, and gradually she was able to learn mental maths quickly. She has been loving mathematics for the past six years, and the determination is growing continuously.

For improving her personality, she always wanted to participate in any international show. Therefore, she went on to participate in Srilanka’s Got Talent. The audience was amazed after watching her Vedic maths skills. Though she was not a winner, she received lots of love from the audience.

Loves Astronomy

As she loves mathematics, therefore, she has developed her interest in astronomy too. Her feature of Vedic maths is also interested in astronomy. So, she began loving it. Whenever her teacher used to tell her about the things related to that field, she found it exciting. She also participated in a workshop after she was asked by her teacher to do so. Nimna Hiranya got to know about telescopes, galaxies, and therefore, she loved the concepts there.

Global Child Prodigy Awardee – Nimna Hiranya

For mathematics skills, she won the Global Child Prodigy award in January 2020. She was also among the Top 100 Child Prodigies of the World.

The Global Child Prodigy is the first organization in the world to recognize the young talents from different countries and backgrounds. The GCP Awards celebrates children having extreme competency in various fields such as painting, modeling, writing, entrepreneurship, intelligence, etc.
