Difficulties Faced By Rahul Vellal During His Initial Musical Journey

As soon as Rahul’s parents discovered that he was interested in music, they started appreciating his talent. They wanted him to learn classical music as classical music is best, so they initiated Rahul into classical music at four.

Initially, no one was willing to teach Rahul Carnatic music because he was too young to learn. His parents knocked on the doors of many music teachers, coaching classes, but no one agreed. All the music teachers believed that he could learn Carnatic music only when he could read and write Kannada. But, Rahul Vellal’s parents wanted to encourage their son’s skills, so they kept trying. They initiated him into Sloka Classes, and he learned Slokas for about one year.
