Before his training, he went to an academy near his village to introduce the sport at the grass-root level. His grandfather motivated him to learn the sport, and in this way, his journey of golf started. After about two months, the academy in the village was shut down. Mr. Singh, the academy’s founder, talked with Shubham’s father and told him about his talent and that he should continue the sport. The founder of the academy provided him with few contacts. For six months, Shubham taught himself with the help of YouTube videos. This was because all the coaches left the academy as it was shut down.
