Avishi has published a remarkable range of books. Her Poeartry series blends poetry with art in a unique union. Tales in a Tale of a Tail grew from bedtime stories she once shared with her brother. Ties of Hope reflects on history, tackling the ancient practice of sati with sensitivity and courage. Her book My Culinary Adventures explores India’s flavors while connecting history, family, and roots. Soon, she will launch a mystery series for young readers set in Singapore.
Her writing has earned recognition across the globe. She has won awards in the Queen’s Commonwealth competition and Elmbridge Literary Competition. She earned honors in the National Poetry Competition and Youth Honour Awards. Her poems and stories have also appeared in publications like the Straits Times.
What makes Avishi’s journey inspiring is not just her talent but her purpose. She donates proceeds from her books to charitable causes. She also holds workshops to encourage other children to try creative writing. Through her words and actions, she shows that stories can create both joy and change.
Beyond writing, Avishi enjoys tennis, playing piano, and spending time with her younger brother. Her motto is simple yet powerful: Express and explore. She lives by those words, turning ideas into poetry and experiences into stories.
