The 11-year-old girl, Sheilah Sheldone, has been catching the attention of people from all over the world. She is mostly known for her artistic skills, but her talent is not just limited to art. Along with her art, Sheilah is also a fantastic model & designer. She has even designed for the president of Kenya, Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta. She loves to create her own outfits & model them. And that’s how she became a designer. This multi-talented prodigy has achieved lots of awards at this young age due to her skills.
Sheilah discovered her artistic skills at the age of five. She used to draw only at school, but she used to love it. The art prodigy told her mom that she loves art and performs best in her class in the field of art. It was astonishing for her mother to see her drawings; she even didn’t believe that Sheilah made them. So, her mom once asked her to draw her face, and the little girl did that very well. After that, her mom recognized her talent and started supporting her interest.
Sheilah says that she is proud of her talent, but she is more proud of her heart. This is because she can change children’s lives by inspiring them to follow their passion. The young girl tries her best to make this possible. She went to the US to teach young children at the community school. Sheilah taught them how to paint. There she got the award for Youngest Lioness of 2018 from the Tese Foundation because she was the youngest girl from Africa who was helping the community.
The young girl, Sheilah, aims to change the world and make the lives of children more comfortable. She wants to become a superhero that can help the children.
She says that everyone is a prodigy. Some of them have been discovered, and some still need recognition. All the people just need to follow their passion, and they will get everything they want.
Sheilah Sheldone won the Global Child Prodigy Award in January 2020 for her art skills. She was also one of the Top 100 Child Prodigies of the year.
The Global Child Prodigy Awards in the only award ceremony aiming to recognize young talents globally. It celebrates the children having extreme competency in their filed such as painting, modeling, writing, etc.
