Iliya Golzar: Creating Harmony Through Music and Dedication

Music has a way of connecting hearts across borders, and Iliya Golzar, a young musician from Iran, has embraced this gift with extraordinary dedication. From mastering instruments to authoring a book, his journey reflects a love for learning, creativity, and sharing knowledge with others.

Iliya’s story began when he showed a natural interest in the piano at a very young age. Encouraged by his parents, he not only learned the piano but also explored a wide range of instruments—including violin, guitar, melodica, harmonica, and traditional Iranian instruments. Each practice session became more than just training; it was an expression of his growing passion for sound, rhythm, and harmony.

His deep interest in music also led him to research and write. During the pandemic, he devoted two years to studying music history, resulting in his book A Look at the History of Music. Written in a concise, engaging way for young learners, the book highlights different eras of classical music, biographies of great musicians, and even includes musical notes for students. This contribution established Iliya as one of the youngest authors in the field of music in Iran, drawing admiration from professors and musicians alike.

Alongside writing, Iliya composes his own pieces—titles like Sweet Dream, Peace, and Serenity reflect his thoughtful approach to creativity. His work has been celebrated in international festivals across Taiwan, Thailand, and India, where he has represented his country with pride.

But Iliya’s dedication is not limited to music alone. He pursues sports like clay tennis, enjoys calligraphy, and continues to excel in academics. With humility and persistence, he balances multiple talents while staying grounded in his love for learning.
