KRITIN GUPTA
For most children, a classroom is where learning begins — but for Kritin Gupta, it became his teaching ground. Known fondly as “Kritin Sir” in schools and colleges, this remarkable math enthusiast began solving complex equations and teaching advanced concepts even before turning five.
Kritin’s journey began with an early fascination for numbers and patterns. By the age of two, he was already exploring concepts far beyond his grade level. Over time, this curiosity grew into a passion to make mathematics accessible and exciting. Instead of fearing numbers, he saw them as puzzles to be solved. With consistent support from his mother, a mathematician herself, Kritin began teaching older students, eventually guiding senior school and even university learners. His unique teaching style, clarity of explanation, and youthful enthusiasm have encouraged many to embrace math with renewed interest, gradually replacing anxiety with understanding and joy in the subject.
Kritin’s abilities have drawn attention in academic circles and beyond. He has shared sessions on topics like p-adic numbers and Dirichlet’s function with engineering students, while also contributing as a volunteer assistant through national education initiatives. Alongside mathematics, he explores algorithms, science, and technology — from solving the Rubik’s Cube to decoding Morse code. Whether generating QR codes by hand or discussing knot theory’s use in medicine, Kritin is redefining what a young mind can do when nurtured with focus, curiosity, and the desire to share knowledge with the world.
A regular day in Kritin’s life includes school lessons, research into advanced mathematics, and time spent helping others understand difficult problems. Between studies, he enjoys strategic games and solving logic-based puzzles. Though gifted, Kritin believes every learner can master math if guided well — a belief he practices daily by mentoring students and making learning more enjoyable.
Kritin’s guiding principle is rooted in his “3C” mantra — curiosity, confidence, and concentration. He believes these values open the door to limitless learning. His long-term vision is to develop new mathematical theories and contribute meaningfully to education. Beyond academics, Kritin values humility and sharing his skills for greater good. Through every equation he solves, he hopes to prove that passion, when guided well, has the power to make real change in society.
Being named a Global Child Prodigy Award Winner 2025 is a milestone Kritin holds close to his heart. He feels proud and excited to join a global community of young achievers shaping the future. As one of the youngest talents to be honored, he sees this recognition not just as a title, but as a responsibility — to inspire more children to rise above fear and believe in their unique potential.
Having received the GCPA before, Kritin reflects on how the award uplifted his confidence and introduced him to a global network of peers. It brought visibility to his mission and encouraged him to continue contributing to education. This second honor feels even more special — a reminder that perseverance and purpose, when combined, create ripples that reach far beyond the classroom.
