Nyshita Debnath – A Voice That Blends Tradition and Versatility

Nyshita Debnath is a young singer whose journey in music began under the loving guidance of her mother. Starting at a very early age, she has grown into a trained Indian classical vocalist with a deep interest in Bhajans, Nazrul Geeti, Semi-classical music, Adhunik songs, and Hindustani vocal techniques. Her training and dedication have already brought her to stages where she has performed alongside greats, including the legendary Gurujee Pt. Ajoy Chakraborty.

What makes Nyshita truly remarkable is the vast range of songs she has already mastered. She knows 131 songs in total, which include 12 classical raags, 15 semi-classical raags, 30 Hindi songs, 20 Rabindra Sangeet, 10 Nazrul Geeti, 10 Bhajans, 14 Adhunik songs, and 20 English songs. This blend of genres not only highlights her versatility but also shows her ability to connect with diverse audiences. Whether it is the soulful depth of Rabindra Sangeet, the devotional energy of Bhajans, or the elegance of classical raags, Nyshita brings life to every performance.

Her repertoire also includes challenging pieces such as breathless songs, which require stamina, skill, and perfect control of voice. Alongside her vocal journey, she has developed a strong connection with instruments like the tabla, harmonium, tanpura, keyboard, and guitar, which adds even more depth to her musical expression.

Nyshita’s stage presence has grown with her performances across different platforms, where her confidence and dedication shine through. Each performance reflects her passion for music and the countless hours of practice that shape her voice.
