Meet 14-year-old Suspense Thriller Author: THE FLAMES OF BEGINNING| Aarit Gupta

Do you all remember the anxiety of your board examinations? The high tension and constant studying, and how you wished you could do anything but this. You’d be surprised to know that Aarit Gupta is a champion at multitasking and a young author in the making. He has already started authoring his book, titled The Flames of Beginning.

Aarit says, “People say I should only be studying and worrying about my board examinations. Studies are not everything. I love to dream and weave suspense stories in my mind. I love writing. Although I have always been brilliant at academics, writing is what interests me more than board exams.”

Role Models

Aarit’s love for writing has led to the development of his ten-part fictional series. He is greatly influenced by the Indian author Chetan Bhagat, and also Ruskin Bond and Roald Dahl. Despite being busy with school, Aarit makes sure to write every day and pen down his ideas.

Dreams For Encouraging Reading And Writing

This prodigy has also collaborated with many friends and opened a book club in Yamunanagar, Haryana. He wants to extend this club so that children from marginalized sections can access books free of cost. As he says,

“Ours is a small town and I would like promote the art of reading and writing for all children, regardless of their financial standing. I envision this club will bring all book-lovers together under one roof and help them learn from each other, every day. Also, now I am inspiring young writers through my creative quotes on my Instagram handle ‘Alternate Creativity.”

Global Child Prodigy Awards Winner

The Global Child Prodigy Awards is the first and only award ceremony globally to recognize talents from various countries and backgrounds. The GCP Awards list includes the children having extreme competency in their field of interest, such as painting, modeling, writing, entrepreneurship, martial art, music, social work, etc.
