“Creativity takes courage” – Henri Matisse.
They often say that artists are born, not made. That must hold as there is no other explanation to give for this young artist’s impeccable skills.
Like any other kid of three years, Aarav Verma was fascinated when he picked up the paintbrush for the first time. No one ever imagined that he would translate it into something beautiful and unique that even most adults can’t. His parents could only stare in awe as he created impressive human figures, emotions, and expressions.
At the tender age of 12, Aarav boasts over 400 paintings by himself, all of which have his signature tinge. He doesn’t wish to limit himself, so he tries out all mediums and textures. It didn’t take long for those around him to notice how a casual hobby was starting to blossom with inborn talent, bold strokes, and versatile creativity.
Global Child Prodigy Awards, the world’s first and only award ceremony solely dedicated to recognizing unique and talented children, awarded Aarav Verma in 2020. Moreover, he was listed under the Top 100 Prodigies List of 2020!
He made his debut into solo exhibitions in 2015, there is nothing that is stopping Aarav. He has already shared the stage with Indian Sitar maestro – Ustad Shujaat Khan and ace flutist – ParasNath. The art prodigy was also recognized as the Best Emerging Artist at World Art, Dubai, last year.
Moreover, he uses his talent for the betterment of society as well. Aarav has raised funds for cancer patients, and Kerala floods through his magnificent works.
Residing in Gurugram, Aarav’s parents come from conservative families where academics hold the utmost importance. However, they kept their ideals aside to help build on their son’s innate talent.
