The Youngest Girl to Play Most Number of Tunes | Laasya Chigurupati

When Laasya moves her little fingers on her instruments, it is almost unpredictable how much pleasure and positivity will spread all around her. She has an extraordinary talent to play the Xylophone and Piano. The 6-year-old Laasya Chigurupati won the – World record, “Youngest to Play Most Number of Tunes,” for playing more than 50 tunes on her Xylophone, which is an excellent achievement at such a young age.

How Laasya Got Inspiration?

The child prodigy Laasya is a student at Park View Primary Academy in Beeston. Her father said, “Laasya first showed signs of musical talent when she was three, and she got a toy xylophone and immediately took to it. She was playing songs right away without any teaching whatsoever – it was amazing.” She has a skill, which is incredibly rare, particularly for a child. She listens to a song for a short time, then goes away and plays it on her instrument without any notes. Her parents Jithender and Aparna Chodogam, always support her.

Laasya says, “My mother is my inspiration and guidance because she’s the one who recognized my interest in music and pushed me towards it. I love to play any song which she teaches me.”

Achievements of The Child Prodigy | Laasya Chigurupati

At a very young age, the little artist Laasya is a Double World Record Holder in Xylophone and Piano. She has achieved the first world record on her Xylophone for playing more than 50 songs by memory.

Laasya won the second world record for playing more than 80 songs by memory at the age of 4. International media appreciates her talent, and several popular newspapers have published articles about her. Leeds tv channel also telecasted her talent.

Winner of Global Child Prodigy Awards 2020

The Global Child Prodigy Awards is the first and only organization to recognize talents from various countries and backgrounds. The GCP Award list includes children having extreme competency in their field such as writing, entrepreneurship, music, social work, etc.

Laasya Chigurupati received the Global Child Prodigy Award in January 2020 for playing Xylophone and Piano. She was also among the the top 100 prodigies of the year. Laasya and her parents are pleased to win this award as it is one of her most significant achievements.

Her father says, “Having her invited to such a prestigious event made my wife and me incredibly proud, she deserved the recognition.”
