Everyone falls, but skating teaches you to fall stylishly. Skating is a recreational activity that ensures you slay on ice and flat surfaces. Skating is the sport in which one needs to balance on blades like runners used for gliding over various surfaces. There is mainly three types of skating 

  • Hard Surface
  • Ice
  • Snow

Skating is good for fitness, fun, and entertaining for everyone. It is as an activity can be taken up by any age group. 

Skating requires balancing and decision-making ability to avoid any obstacle coming your way. 

Life Is Just Like Gliding Over Wheels.

Parents need to understand that not every sports activity is meant for children. One must consider the below-mentioned points before asking your child to learn skating.

1. Physical Fit And Stamina

Before enrolling your child in any random skating classes, make sure that your child is physically fit and having enough stamina to face exhaustion

Keep your child engaged in motor activities like Hopscotch, balloon and bubble play, and jumping jacks, etc. Motor skills will help your child to be creative in approaches.

3. Find skating classes nearby.

4. Finding the right skates is the most important part.

5. Help them to learn the basics.

Teach them to keep their knees bent and to lean slightly forward. Ask your child to slowly walk wearing skates. Provide him/ her with the support required.

6. Push your child to practice more.
