Meet Ezrah Dormon The 15-Year-Old Tattoo Artist

Would you allow a 15-year-old boy to tattoo you? Probably not, but a talented young boy has taken his first steps as a tattoo artist and has already completed more than 20 designs on those willing to trust his skills. His name is Ezrah Dormon, but people call him ‘The Shark.’ There’s no doubt that the little boy has some incredible talent.

How Ezrah Dormon Developed Interest In Tattooing?

Dormon is a 15-year-old tattoo artist who was born and raised in Panama City. He first tried his hand at the tattoo gun while his mother was getting a red flower tattoo on her skin. The Little boy wished out loud that he could do the same thing. The tattoo artist Ali Garcia offered to have him fill in some of the lines of the red flower. That was the moment when her mother and Ali understood that Ezrah Dormon has excellent skills. 

Since then, Ali Garcia has become Ezrah’s mentor. The little tattoo artist is still growing his skills at Honolulu, the tattoo shop. He practices on oranges and grapefruits sometimes and has learned how to draw various designs like panthers, snakes, roses and sharks. He has even tattooed his mathematics teacher.

Ezrah’s mother has encouraged his interest from the beginning, and she says, “I was getting that tattoo, and Ezrah was just sitting there watching us and talking. And he was like, ‘Wow, I wish I could try that. I would love to know how to do that,’ and Ali was, like, ‘Well, why don’t you try it now?”

Dormon is also an Instagram star and has over 100,000 followers on Instagram. He started posting pictures on his Instagram in September 2016. In addition to his tattooing, The Shark also posts videos of him surfing and skating. He has earned representation from brands like Adidas and Vans in Panama. 

Winner of Global Child Prodigy Awards 2020

The Global Child Prodigy is the first and only organization to recognize talents from various countries and backgrounds, having extreme competency in their field of interest such as painting, modeling, writing, entrepreneurship, martial art, music, social work, etc. 

Ezrah Dormon received the Global Child Prodigy award in January 2020 for his incredible skills. His name was also among the top 100 prodigies of the year. He is delighted to win this award as it is one of his most significant achievements.

Ezrah Dormon Made Everyone Believe His Skills

Dormon explained, “None of my friends believed me at the beginning. Like when I tattooed my mom, I told them that I did the tattoo, and they didn’t believe it, but some people at school think that it’s awesome.”

He wants to travel around the world with his tattoo gun. He says,” When I go to college, I’ll have that in my suitcase that I can just pull out and give a tattoo to earn money.” The child tattoo artist is fantastic, and he will indeed have a great future.
