“Everybody is talented because everybody who is human has something to express.” – Brenda Ueland.
Tiluck Keisam is an 11-year-old boy who holds a Guinness Book of World Records for skating. The child prodigy from Delhi has made India proud with his inspirational achievements. Tiluck, the son of Keisam Ricky and Pravabati Takhellambam from Manipur, is a fantastic Limbo skater.
The young skater Tiluck is a student of the sixth standard in a renowned New Delhi school. He started skating when he was four years old and passionately follows it till the present. Tiluck practices skating regularly at least for four hrs to achieve new milestones.
Coach Rohtash Dinodia trained him in Delhi. However, it is difficult for his parents to keep a balance between his studies and passion. Tiluck wants to work hard on his passion for participating in the nation’s Olympics and making his country proud.
The child prodigy, Tiluck, participated in several competitions. He already has 42 medals, out of which nineteen are gold medals and many certificates in his basket apart from etching his name in the Limca Book of Guinness Book of World Records. Tiluck attempted a new feat at the Slalom Wave boarding event with skates and made a new world record. The young boy covered five laps, where they placed 97 cones at a gap of 1 meter each. Therefore covered a total distance of 485 meters in a single run within a record time of only 3 minutes 40 seconds.
Tiluck attempted another record at Slalom Wave boarding, where he covered 40 laps with 97 cones placed at a distance of 1 meter each—hence covering a total length of 3,880 meters.
He represented India in the 1st Asian Roller Skating Open Championship held at St. Thomas English Medium School, Chippi Tank, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on 26th December 2013, and won a silver medal for the country.
The Global Child Prodigy Awards is the first and only organization to recognize talents from various countries and backgrounds, having extreme competency in their field of interest such as painting, modeling, writing, entrepreneurship, martial art, music, social work, etc.
Tiluck Keisam received the Global Child Prodigy award in January 2020 for skating. His name was listed under the top 100 prodigies of the year. He is delighted to win this award as it is one of his most significant achievements. If you know someone close to you who deserves to be on the top 100 Child Prodigies list, make sure to click here.
Apart from sports, Tiluck has also been a source of inspiration for many other kids. Dhairya Chowdhry is another child of the same age who draws his inspiration from Tiluck. He got motivation from Tiluck’s hard work and determination towards his passion. He then started practicing the art of skating and keenly developed an interest in the same. If Tiluck and Dhairya can do it, then everyone can.
