PRISHA KARTHIK
K Prisha’s incredible journey began in the simplest of ways—by observing her grandmother and mother perform yoga. At just one year old, she was already mimicking the poses, a small act that sparked an extraordinary path. Nurtured by a deeply committed family, her natural inclination toward yoga evolved into a lifelong pursuit of excellence. From local stages to global platforms, Prisha’s story is one of purpose and passion, where discipline, family values, and compassionate outreach merge to create a life rooted in service and determination.
Starting her competitive journey at the age of five, Prisha quickly rose through the ranks in district, national, and international yoga competitions, garnering numerous gold medals across esteemed competitions. By seven, she had already achieved her first world record and continued to break new ground across multiple disciplines including aqua yoga, blindfolded problem-solving, and ambidextrous writing. Each new record was more than a personal win—it became a platform to teach, inspire, and serve. She began organizing free yoga camps for diverse communities, especially for the visually impaired and underprivileged, embodying the transformative power of wellness and compassion.
Her routine is a remarkable blend of academics, physical activity, teaching, and meditation. Morning yoga, school, daily visits to blind schools, and evening sessions in swimming, art, and music reflect her incredible balance. Over the years, she’s trained and empowered numerous individuals, including a visually impaired student who went on to achieve a world record under her guidance. Her outreach spans beyond teaching; she authored a therapeutic yoga book, reaching millions. Her titles and honors, from national awards to global recognitions, reflect not only her skill but also her spirit. And yet, her core remains unchanged—humble, grateful, and deeply committed to helping others.
Prisha’s accolades are wide-ranging but always carry a consistent theme—creating impact. Recognized as the world’s youngest yoga teacher for the blind, her ability to connect with students of all ages and backgrounds sets her apart. With multiple world records, honorary doctorates, and a global footprint, she continues to use her platform for awareness, inclusion, and transformation. In every activity—whether conducting laughter therapy sessions or preparing children for competitions—her intention remains to empower others. Her dedication demonstrates that success lies not just in accomplishments, but in the ability to uplift and create joy.
Each day is a testimony to her principles—positivity, service, and fulfillment. From early morning breathing exercises to late-night meditation, her time is meticulously structured around self-growth and giving back. She remains an active advocate for holistic health, offering yoga-based therapy for chronic ailments and mental wellness. Through blindfolded activities, telekinesis practices, and youth workshops, she nurtures inner strength among peers and adults alike. What anchors her journey is the belief that changing lives is the greatest achievement. As she looks to the future, her goal is not only to surpass 100 world records but to inspire a global movement around wellness, youth empowerment, and self-belief.
Receiving the Global Child Prodigy Award 2025 is yet another meaningful chapter in Prisha’s journey. For her, it serves as a moment of gratitude and responsibility—to do more, help more, and inspire more. With grace and maturity, she hopes the recognition becomes a reminder to others that age is no barrier to impact, and that through compassion and discipline, extraordinary change is possible.
