The renowned Entrepreneur, Educationalist, and Humanitarian, Mr. Kavin Kumar Kandasamy, hosted the talk. He is also the Managing Director of Mangalam Educational Institutions. Mr. Kavin’s institutions serve more than 7000 students every year.

We caught up with Anantya Anand to get an insight into her success story.

Anantya Anand Tell Us A Little About Yourself

My name is Anantya Anand, and I am popularly known as Miss Anand. I am 11-years-old and currently, I am studying in 6th grade. I love acting a lot. My hobbies include playing Badminton and acting. I am a huge fan of Harry Potter.

When Did It All Start?

When I was 4, I started appearing on my Bua’s(aunt) channel. After that, I started my channel when I was five. I have been building my channel for the last six years.

I have around 9.4 million subscribers on my YouTube channel, and 700K people were following me on TikTok. I don’t know about my Instagram followers as I don’t use it much.

How Does Your Recognition Make You Feel?

It feels very great when people recognize me on the streets. I love to see that a lot of people love me, and they are proud of me. Right now, I am not going outside so, I can’t meet anyone. But before the covid pandemic, I used to enjoy meeting my fans a lot. Mostly my fans are the children who are of my age.

How Are Your Parents Supporting You With All Of This?

My mom plays a huge role in whatever I am today. She handles my channel, makes the scripts and then she helps us in the shooting part also. She also appears in my videos. My father also helps me sometimes, but he is busy with his office work.

How Long Does It Take To Shoot Something And Then Upload It?

It usually takes one week to decide the script, shoot, edit, and then post the video. But the part where I need to work is shooting, and it takes just 8 hours.

If I disagree with the script that my mom writes, I tell her to change. When both of us don’t agree, then my uncle does the scripting.

How Do You Balance Your Studies And Work?

I go to school regularly from Monday to Friday. I usually have the shoot on Saturdays, and then I have fun on Sundays. School is essential for me, so I entirely focus on my studies on the school days.

Which Part Do You Enjoy The Most About Making These Videos?

The most important thing I enjoy is the fun we have while making the videos. We laugh a lot, and we gossip a lot. Also, I want to show my acting skills to people. So, I enjoy all the things I do.

If You Were Not Doing These Videos, What Would Be The Fun Thing For You?

I am very happy with my YouTube videos, so I never thought about what I have been doing. But I would play Badminton, Basketball, or Table Tennis if I were not doing the fun videos. I am also taking classes for Badminton. I play all these sports for fun because I love having fun.

How Long Will It Take You To Get The YouTube Diamond Button?

I have already received the Silver and Golden YouTube button, and I need 10 million subscribers for the diamond button. I think it will take around two months to get the diamond YouTube button.

How Does It Feel To Be A Global Child Prodigy Awardee?

It feels extraordinary that I am one of the the Top 100 prodigies of the world. I received the GCP Award from Dr. Kiran Bedi ma’am, and it was a wonderful moment of my life. I felt that I had achieved something great in my life.

What Would You Like To Tell To All The Kids?

I want to say that you follow your dreams. Please do whatever you are interested in and work hard for it. Also, don’t forget to subscribe to my channel.
