Succession To Villareal

Due to his extraordinary talent, the eminent club Villarreal CF selected him for the trials. He was part of the four-member group that traveled to Spain. Other players also included Jordan Olds, Noah Alessi, and Andrew Pothitos.

While speaking to FTBL, Baker’s father said that their family relocated to Melbourne to help Beckham’s growing sports career.

In the year 2019, they went to Levante. And while training with Villarreal’s U11’s and U12’s, he performed so well that he received a whopping 10-page report from them regarding his performance. And it was glowing.

His father also said,

“He has mentors like Daniel’ D10 Capellaro’ and Tim Cahill, Dario Vidosic, and James Troisi following him on Instagram.

“Tim sends him advice, as do Dario and James and he’s supported by a lot of A-League players. And D10 has been a great mentor.”

Living Up To His Name

His mother named Beckham Baker after prestigious English footballer David Beckham as she is an adoring fan of David.

Baker also has other similarities with David Beckham.

“Becks stays very grounded and works hard. He loves Melbourne City, but Beckham’s dream is to play in the major leagues, and he loves Manchester United. That’s his ultimate dream.”

This young prodigy had also trained with the English club when he was just eight years old. Looking at Baker and his brilliant prowess in football, we can certainly hope that he will play for Manchester United like his namesake one day.
