This 10-Year-Old Is ‘US Kids Golf World Champion’ – Bento Assis

Talent has no age and it is proved by the little Bento Assis. Bento Assis is a 10-year-old Golf prodigy from Boca Raton, FL, USA. He is a hard-working, determined, and competitive boy. He loves to practice sports and play outdoor games. The child prodigy is quite athletic, has good motor skills, and only focuses at his goal. The little boy’s excellent results have been drawing the attention of even football legends, such as Ronaldo Fenomeno.

Bento was born on November 16, 2010, in Brazil. He started practicing Golf when he was only two-years-old and soon began to participate in competitions. He started obtaining outstanding results in international tournaments at a very young age. At present, his coach is Rick Heard. He was the youngest Brazilian ever to participate in a golf tournament in the U.S.

Bento is excellent at not only Golf but also at Tennis, soccer, and running. He has also tried triathlon, baseball, football, basketball, judo, and capoeira. So, we can say that Bento Assis is a multi-talented child prodigy.

Prominence & Achievements | Bento Assis

At the young age of 7, Bento Assis won the U.S. Kids’ second world championship. After back to Back wins at U.S. Kids World Championship, he was World Champion 2017 and 2018. The little boy turned the game and won the tournament with 110 strokes, against 116 of the second place. Without being affected by the difficult start to the competition, the boy proved that he already has a good head for the sport. He has won various tournaments, contests, and also a global award.

Bento has gained prominence in the media for his results. Many popular magazines have featured him. The prominent sportsman, Ronaldo, has learned of the boy’s potential and sponsored him a few years ago, helping with travel expenses for competitions and equipment. For him, it doesn’t matter to win a title. But when it comes to career plans, his dreams are really big.

The Global Child Prodigy is the first and only organization to recognize talents from various countries and backgrounds, having extreme competency in their field of interest such as painting, modeling, writing, entrepreneurship, martial art, music, social work, etc. 

Bento Assis received the Global Child Prodigy Award in January 2020 under the category of sports. His name was also among the top 100 child prodigies of the year. He is glad to receive this global award as it is one of his most significant achievements.
