Remember those toy pianos that we used to have in our childhood. We mindlessly pressed random keys to make whatever weird melody we could. But a three-year-old boy managed to develop a rare skill set on it and got a TV appearance? Like Disney and nickelodeon.
Ethan Bortnick, the musical prodigy, brings us the story of a child whose small hands did wonders.
Ethan Jordan Bortnick was born on December 24, 2000. Popularly known as Ethan Bortnick, he is an American pianist, singer, songwriter, record producer, and musician. A Jewish immigrant couple from Ukraine took him. His parent’s name is Hannah Bortnick and Gene Bortnick.
He had a passion for singing and music from an early age. At the age of three, he discovered a rare set of music skills with perfect pitch. His parents bought a tiny toy keyboard for him, which became his favorite toy. Eventually, that toy keyboard led him to appearances on “The Tonight Show,” Oprah, Disney, Nickelodeon.
In a music concert organized in 2011 at Las Vegas Hilton, Bortnick became the youngest headliner ever in Las Vegas. In August 2011, he released his first music album in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, the U.S. Bortnick played the leading role in the film “Anything is Possible”. The film’s soundtrack was his album.
At the age of 9, Bortnick started his own PBS Concert. He was the youngest artist owner of the National PBS Concert Special “The Power of Music.” His PNB Concert became super successful. “The Power of Music” got the number-one concert pledge show on public television for 2014–2015.
Bortnick started his music career at the age of three as a music composer. He discovered a rare music set, and released his first music album at 10 in 2011. He hosted a 22-minute musical-variety show for preschoolers called “Melody Street.” He created a band of animated musical instruments; Val Violin, Feb Flute, Timmy Trumpet, Heidi Horn, and Sammy Snare with his five best friends. This band specially made music for entertaining kids with humor, songs, skits, interactive games, backstage dramas, and celebrity musical guests.
He performed in many live shows such as-
In 2010 Ethan Bortnick won the Outstanding Instrumentalist. He also won the Bob Hope award -The Next Generation of Hope as a young artist.
