The International Day of Women and Girls in Science is celebrated each year on 11 February. It is implemented by UNESCO and UN-Women to bring women & girls’ role in science and technology into the spotlight. These organizations have collaborated with the institutions and civil society partners that are aiming to promote women and girls in the field of science. Samaira always loved board games, and she always loved computer programming too. But she didn’t like the fact that she had to do both of them separately.
