Lydian Nadhaswaram ‘s First Debut In Bollywood

So far, we have seen many pianists. But, Lydian Nadhaswaram has an extraordinary skill that seems to be God-gifted. At just 15 years of age, he has incredible piano skills. He is the winner of the World’s Best and is a musical Prodigy from India. His life has changed a lot after winning the title of World’s Best.

His musical journey

Lydian Nadhaswaram is from Chennai. He was 9 when his father showed him a YouTube video in which he saw a Chinese boy playing piano. From there, he found his inspiration and gradually developed an interest in playing the piano. His father is the guidance under whom he practices around six hours a day. One could say that his skills seem just like a professional musician. He likes to listen to motivational speeches also.

His Debut as Music Composer

Barroz is a film directed by Mr. Mohanlal. In this film, Lydian is composing a piece of music, and it is his first debut as a music composer. Director Mohanlal congratulated him on winning World’s Best. The team of the film approached him and asked whether he would like to work for the movie. Barroz, a movie that is related to children, and so his father also agreed.

Journey in KM Conservatory

At the age of 10 years, he entered KM Conservatory for learning tabla. He got inspired by Dr. Surojit Chatterjee, a teacher, who taught him the Russian piano method. He says that KM Conservatory plays a very significant role in his journey. Lydian Nadhaswaram got the chance to meet AR Rahman. After winning World’s Best, AR Rahman visited his home and played the piano.

Global Child Prodigy Awardee

In January 2020, he won the Global Child Prodigy Award for his piano skills and was also listed among the world’s Top 100 Child Prodigies. So far, we have seen many pianists.

GCP 2020 Awardee

The Global Child Prodigy is the world’s first child prodigy initiative. It is one of its kind organization that brings deserving children from all around the world into the spotlight. The GCPA celebrates child prodigies worldwide from various fields such as academics, painting, modeling, writing, entrepreneurship, martial art, music, social work, etc.
