Vriti Gujral is a young girl of the new generation, who chose Indian classical art forms to keep her nation’s culture alive. In this modernized era, where Indian culture is losing its traditions, Vriti wants to spread it worldwide. She intends to take the Indian heritage forward.
Vriti is currently studying at Sri Venkateshwar International School, Dwarka, Although She is an eighth-grader and works hard to balance her studies and her passion, Kathak. The prodigy’s mother, Sarika Gujral, said that she practices every day for hours.
Her guru Barun Banerjee is a renowned kathak artist of Lucknow Gharana, who has been training Vriti since she was 6. Sh. Barun Banerjee says – “Vriti is very hardworking and dedicated towards her dance. The vibes of her art travel through her soul. The way she has picked nuances of this art is commendable.”
Cultural Ministry of India is offering Vriti Gujral a national scholarship in kathak. Also, she has won the hearts of many kathak maestros, including Pt.Birju Maharaj Ji, Vidushi Saswati Sen Ji, Smt. Shobha Koser Ji, etc.
At such a young age, Vriti has given numerous classical dance performances in various parts of India. Vriti gujral has been the finalist in Kathak Genre Dance Competition moreover she wants to carve her niche in Kathak’s field. She intends to spread the beauty of Indian art and culture throughout the world.
The Global Child Prodigy Awards is the first and only organization to recognize talents from various countries. The list includes children having extreme competency in their fields. Including painting, modeling, writing, entrepreneurship, martial art, music, and social work.
Vriti Gujral received the Global Child Prodigy award in January 2020. Her name was listed under the top 100 prodigies of the year likewise She is pleased to win the prize as her most significant achievements.
The incredible Kathak dancer Vriti is an international rising star of Indian Classical dance above all Vriti Gujral made her nation proud by getting the International award and recognition. The young girl always mesmerized the audience with her energetic yet graceful classical dance performances.
Vriti is an inspiration for all the youth of her age. She believes in giving back to society likewise Vriti wishes to extend this art to the less privileged .
