Miguel’s parents recognized his talent when he was three and was stacking & counting his Play-Doh. After that, he started learning basic math operations like addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division at the age of four. He mastered all these things in just two weeks. His mom was the first one to identify his talent.
Although Miguel is known for his mathematics skills, he has many more amazing skills. He loves to play Piano. The young genius told us that he started playing Piano at an early age. He has a Piano mentor who recognized his talent and started teaching him for free. Miguel loves mathematics, Piano, and computer science equally. He says that all three are essential and balanced for him. He manages to practice all these things every day.
Miguel practices mathematics almost every day from a book named Art of Problem Solving. He also writes down the programs for Computer science whenever he gets time. On his way to school, he solves five math problems daily and then cracks another five after coming back home. After school, he practices Piano daily. Other than that, He has a passion for drawing and sketching. He doesn’t show his art skills online, but he loves to draw.
Miguel says that he was shocked when schools were closed, but then he got used to technology. He learned to use Zoom and Microsoft office because of these online classes. He also felt that physical school was better than the online version of it.
During this pandemic, Miguel took two virtual courses on Computer Science from Harvard University. The first course was on Introduction to Computer Science, and the other was about Web Programming using Python and Javascript. He got certificates for both the courses, and he enjoyed it.
