Teaching Knows No Boundaries | 13 Year Old Mohammed Hassan Ali Teaches MTech Students

It is because of you that I am a strong and confident person today. Happy Teachers’ Day!

Happy Teacher’s Day

Who is Mohammed Hassan Ali?

A school kid teaches students much older than him who is pursuing engineering at a bachelor’s and master’s level.

A class 9 student, Ali, provides lessons to college-going students, free of cost. He hopes to tutor a thousand engineers by the end of 2020.

Like any other boy of his age, Ali attends school and indulges in sports till 6 pm. After this, this wondrous boy follows and takes classes at a tuition center with students almost double his age.

“I have been doing this since last year. I go to school in the morning and I come back home by 3 pm, play and do my homework. By 6 pm, I’m ready to go to the teaching institute to share lessons with civil, mechanical and electronics students.

His interest in educating youngsters began when Ali came across a video of qualified Indians doing odd jobs in foreign countries.

“I was watching a video on the internet about Indians doing odd jobs in foreign countries even after studying. That is when it struck me that what is it our engineers lack? I realised it is primarily technical and communication skills that they are not well aware of. Since my area of interest is designing, I started learning and teaching the same.”

We came across some student testimonials of Ali, which proved that he is an excellent teacher.

I am an MTech graduate and have been here for a month. He [Mohammed Hassan Ali] teaches many subjects. He is good at his job.”

I have been coming here [institute] for a month-and-a-half to learn civil software. He is younger to all of us here but manages to teach quite well. He is skillful and good at what he teaches and it is also easy to comprehend.”

It is so inspiring to see individuals like Mohammed Hassan Ali educating a whole sector of students. However, like him, there are several teachers in each of our lives to whom we must pay respect. As you all know, a scientist would never have become one if it wasn’t for his teacher.
