R. Praggnanandhaa, who won gold for India after an amazing finish at FIDE, has gained the title of the fourth-youngest Grandmaster in the world ever. At 5, he started playing at tournaments and became the U-8 champion, earning him the title of FIDE Master. Rameshbabu Praggnanandhaa was hailed as the U-10 champion also. When he was only ten years old, he became the Youngest International Master. Vishwanathan Anand, the world-renowned chess player, appreciated Rameshbabu’s extraordinary skill after a match with him. R. Praggnanandhaa received the Global Child Prodigy Award in 2020 in the category of sports. He is also one of the Top 100 Prodigies of the World.
