Ritik Diwakar, the 14-year-old dancing prodigy, recently had an exclusive interview with Global Child Prodigy under Prodigy Talks. The renowned Entrepreneur, Educationalist, and Humanitarian, Mr. Kavin Kumar Kandasamy, hosted the talk. He is also the Managing Director of Mangalam Educational Institutions. Mr. Kavin’sKavin’s institutions serve more than 7000 students every year.
Let’s get to know the inspiring story behind Ritik Diwakar’s success in this interview.
I’m very well. Hello, I’m Ritik Diwakar. I’m 14 years old, and I belong to Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. Currently, I study in class 8th at KDMA International School.
I began dancing from an early age of 4 years.
My teacher- Yogesh Sir, spotted the dance talent in me. She’s been teaching me dance for the last ten years.
It feels awesome. I feel grateful that a lot of people adore me for my dancing skills. My friends and fans are always eager to click photos with me whenever they see me in public. They support and motivate me a lot. I feel blessed for the immense love and admiration that I get from my fans.
I believe that having a fan base at this age is surprising for me. It makes me proud and happy when my fans acknowledge and admire my dancing skills.
Firstly, I want to thank everyone who voted for me and helped me reach the finals of ‘‘Super Dancer”. It was an outstanding show, and I had an excellent experience there. ”Super Dancer” was a life-changing opportunity for me; I enjoyed it a lot. I got a lot of support and learned a lot from my co-competitors in the show.
Yes, I met Varun bhaiya at the ”Super Dancer’Dancer’ show, where he saw my dance and decided to fund my education. I’m still in touch with him.
My family consists of my dad, mom, sister, and me. My dad is a manager at a restaurant. I have a sister, and she is ten years old, and she likes to sing.
There are so many different dance forms. I like the dance form called ‘‘breaking”, which is an element of Hip-Hop. It’s a problematic and challenging dance form. I enjoy it a lot.
I love to do Hip-Hop and Contemporary.
Due to this pandemic situation, I didn’t get a chance to travel recently. In February, I got a chance to visit Bangalore to participate in a school event. I also learned the Kannada language.
Not yet. I love videography and aim to become a director someday.
The ”Breaking” dance form will be included in the Olympics 2024, so I plan to represent the Olympics’ nation.
I like photography; whenever I get a chance to travel, I click photos of the sky, sea, and different places.
It’s called @ritik_bboyrocket.
I felt proud and honored. It feels excellent to be among the top 100 child prodigies of the world.
It is a bit challenging, and I have to manage my studies and 4 to 5 hours of dance practice every day. But, with proper planning, I’m able to maintain a balance between them.
I want to share what my mentor always told me; he said, don’t ever become someone else. Be what you are; you’re the best. So, I want to say to every person to be positive and follow their dreams. Also, keep supporting me and showering your love and blessings upon me.
Thank you, Ritik Diwakar. You are a wonderful person. We wish you all the best for your future. May you get all the success in life.
