“Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up.” – Pablo Picasso
Talent and kindness together can create a person who can change the life of others. The child prodigy, Rohan is one such person. The young artist, K. Sai Rohan Raju, who hails from the port city, is creating waves in the art scene in Abu Dhabi. At a very young age of 13 years, Rohan has achieved many awards for using art as a medium for his environmental campaigns.
The young artist, Rohan was initiated into the world of art by his mother Sunita, who is also an artist. “Even as kindergarten students, he has won recognition at the school level. After finishing their studies, Rohan and his brother Rahul spend about four to five hours on the weekends devoting to art,” says Sunita.
Rahul is the elder brother of Rohan, who is also an artist and works with Rohan. During his last visit to Vishakhapatnam, he spent his time learning the art of Tanjore Paintings. Rohan wants to dedicate his art for good purposes.
The child prodigy, Rohan is a student at Abu Dhabi’s Ryan Private School. Rohan is one of the youngest artists whose work has been showcased at the prestigious Art Hub at Abu Dhabi.
He is also an active campaigner for The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust and Global March for elephants and rhinos. The young artist is also associated with the Emirates Environment Group and regularly participates in events.
He won the prestigious The Diana Award for Inspirational Young People for their environmental campaigns using art as a medium. He received the certificate and trophy signed by UK Prime Minister David Cameron. Rohan has won the hearts of thousands of people all around the globe through his excellent artworks. He has around 1K followers on Instagram.
The Global Child Prodigy is the first and only organization in the world that recognizes the talents from various countries and backgrounds, having extreme competency in their field of interest such as painting, modeling, writing, entrepreneurship, martial art, music, social work, etc.
Sai Rohan Raju received the Global Child Prodigy award in January 2020 for his incredible artwork. His name was listed under the top 100 prodigies of the year. If you know someone close to you who deserves to be on the top 100 Child Prodigies list, make sure to click here.
“Animals are voiceless and easy victims in the face of human cruelty. Through our works, we want to depict that and dedicate art for a purpose.”, say the brothers Rahul and Rohan.
The child artist Rohan teaches us that we can use our talent not only to be successful but also to help others. At such a young age, Rohan knows how to dedicate his art to good purposes such as environmental campaigns. If Rohan can do so, then everyone can.
