The 10-year-old boy, Bento Assis from Florida, USA, has now become a four-time world champion in Golf. He started practicing golf when he was only 2 years old and soon after entered into competitions, and proved his excellence every time he participated. With all his determination and hard work, the young boy has already achieved milestones and he keeps amazing everyone through his incredible skills. Not only golf, but the young boy also has a keen interest in other sports such as tennis, soccer, and basketball.
Achievements
At the young age of 7, Assis won the US Kids World Championship. He went on to win it 2 more times in 2017 and 2018. He is the youngest Brazilian golfer ever to play in the US. Most recently, Assis has announced the winner of the Jekyll Island Cup in 2021.
In what is turning out to be a big year for him, Assis has won the 2021 under-10 World Championship for the fourth time! Behind him are Matthew Marigliano and Davis Petty who are both American players. Moreover, according to the US Kids Golf Foundation, Assis is the only player from Brazil in the under-10 category at the competition. A boy of exceptional talent and dedication, he proves every time that age is just a number.
