Jean Carlos Chera is popular as Jean Chera or simply Chera. He is a Brazilian footballer born on 12 May 1995 in Vera Mato Grosso and plays an attacking midfielder. He played with many clubs during his career.
Club Career: Difficulties Faced By Jean Carlos Chera
At the age of ten, Chera joined Santos Youth Setup in 2005 after impressing while playing for ADAP. He was one of the brightest youth prospects of the club at that time. He left the club on 25 March 2011, after rejecting offers of renewal. Another reason for leaving the club was his father having altercations with the team’s board.
Chera signed a three year deal with Serie A club, Zenoa, two months after leaving Peixe. He was all ready to join Primavera Squad. In November, he returned to Brazil and joined Flamengo.
Chera rescinded from Fla in December 2012. He moved to the fellow league team Atletico Paranaense in February 2013. In August 2013, he was released from there, and he joined Cruzeiro in the next month. But got out of there in December 2013.
Chera signed a professional deal with Oesta on 28 January 2014. He was released from there on 28 March, after his side was relegated from Campeonato Paulista.
He agreed on a contract with CS Universitatea Craiova on 19 June but was released in just ten days. Chera again switched teams and country in July 2014 and joined Greek Football League.
Professional debut:
After working and switching so many clubs, he has his professional debut on 17 October. He came as a second-half substitute in a 0-2 home loss against Panegialios in his professional debut.
Chera moved to Spanish Tercera Division‘s SD Bhulna in November. He returned to his home country in 2015 and sign for Cuiaba. Again he was out after appearing in only two-stage league matches on 21 May.
Chera returned to Santos on 30 July 2015 and signed a four-month deal. Initially, he was assigned to under 23s.
Financial problems:
He was loaned to Vitoria das Tobacos on 29 December, but the loan did not materialize shortly after. He was loaned to Portuguesa Santista on 3 February 2016 with another 13 Santos players.
Retirement:
Chera announced his retirement from professional football at the age of 21 on 18 July 2016 and returned to his hometown. On the following day, he states that he would return after some time, but Santos rescinded his contract on 26 July.
He stepped out of retirement on 22 November 2016 and signed for Sinop. Sinop uses him rarely, so he terminated his contract on the following September.
He retired from the 2018 session and became an esports player. Jean Chalos Chera suffered many problems throughout his career but still is a prodigy. Difficulties are always there but overcoming them is the most significant achievement.
